The Aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Modification Center (Habom) Project, which  was built at Sabiha Gökçen Airport over 372.000 m2 area, covers  Aircraft Maintenance Hangars and complementary units. Within the scope of HABOM PROJECT, which will be erected on an area of nearly 20 hectares, there are excavation works (digging, controlled filling), bored pile works, onsite-poured reinforced concrete works, long-span structural steel manufacturing and installation, infrastructure works, galleries, and landscaping in addition to electromechanical, mechanical, and electrical applications.

The facilities that will be installed within the scope of this project are as follows:

  • Wide-Bodied Aircraft Maintenance Hangar and Outbuilding
  • Narrow-Bodied Aircraft Maintenance Hangar and Outbuilding
  • Headquarters Building
  • Social Center
  • Locker and Security Building
  • Shop Buildings
  • Chemical Warehouse and their infrastructural and landscape works
  • Multi-storey car park and their infrastructural and landscape works
  • Powerhouse
  • Waste Storage
  • Water Treatment Facility

The approximate quantities of the works are as follows:

Excavation: 1,000,000 m3

Bored pile works: 150,000 m

Reinforced concrete pipes: 300,000 m3

Reinforced steel: 48,000 tons

Structural steel: 38,500 tons

The aircraft maintenance and repair facilities, which will be installed at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, will be built on an area of 372,000 m2. HABOM Project, which aims at employing nearly 2,000 persons, will be completed within 3 years and delivered to Turk Havayollari Teknik A.S.
