ANKARA – IZMIR HIGH – SPEED TRAİN PROJECT INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS (AFYON - POLATLI)

The General Directorate of Turkish State Railways, Department of Railroads (TCDD) issued a tender for the Infrastructure Construction Works of the Ankara (Polatlı) – Afyonkarahisar Section of the Ankara-Izmir High-Speed Train Project, and the construction is carried out by Sigma – YDA – Makimsan – Burkay Partnership. The construction of the project started on 29th June 2012 and the planned date of completion is December 2018. The scope of the contract covers a 167 km-long railroad with the following construction works: excavation (49,000,000 m3); landfill (16,500,000 m3); cut-and-cover tunnels (2 with a total length of 460 m); bored tunnels (8 with a total length
of 7,505 m); viaducts (16 with a total length of 6,236 m); bridges (16 with a total length of 682 m); overpasses (29 with a total length of 1,140 m); underpasses (88 with a total length of 2,770 m); and culverts (185 with a total length of 8,756 m). The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 44%.

With 5,205 meters, the Köroğlu Tunnel is the second longest tunnel among all High-Speed Train Projects under construction in our country.

TURKELI AYANCIK & ERFELEK SINOP BOYABAT HIGHWAY (SINOP)

The 7th Regional Directorate of Highways issued a tender for the project of Türkeli Ayancık Junction, and Erfelek Sinop Boyabat Junction Road Construction Work. YDA Construction Industry and Trade, Inc. is implementing this project. The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 39.67%. The contract covers earthwork operations and engineering works. The targeted date of completion is
December 2017. The new highway with higher standards will help save time and fuel when travelling from Erfelek district to Ayancık and Boyabat.

SINOP DIKMEN DURAGAN HIGHWAY (SINOP)

The 7th Regional Directorate of Highways issued a tender for the construction of Dikmen-Durağan Provincial Road and the planned date of completion is December 2017. The contract covers earthwork, engineering and superstructure works. The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 80.86%.

ORDU RING ROAD (ORDU)

The 19.1 km-long Ordu Ring Road Project is designed to provide better standards for transit traffic and alleviate interurban traffic load. This Project is the last phase of the Black Sea Coastal Road. The General Directorate of Highways issued a tender for the Ordu Ring Road Project. The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 91.05%. The targeted date of completion is December 2017.

DIYARBAKIR SOUTH – WEST ACCESS ROAD (GAP) DIYARBAKIR AIRPORT CONNECTION (DIYARBAKIR)

The 9th Diyarbakır Regional Directorate of Highways issued a tender for the Diyarbakır Southwest Ring Road (GAP) Diyarbakır Airport Connection Road Project. The project is implemented by Doruk – YDA Partnership. The road will be approximately 8.8 km long, with a platform width of 34 meters, and will be built to provincial road standards as a divided highway. There are 3 flyover junctions, engineering works, 2 underpasses, 2 bridges, and various hydraulic culverts within the scope of the project. The project also consists of the construction of Plant Mix Sub-base, Plant Mix Base, Road BHM, and Superstructure works. The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 96.23%. The targeted date of completion is May 2017.

TOKAT – NIKSAR HIGHWAY (TOKAT)

The General Directorate of Highways issued a tender for the construction of Tokat-Niksar Highway. Doğuş (50%) and YDA (50%) Partnership undertook the project and the targeted date of completion is December 2017. The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 22.70%. The 48 kmlong Tokat-Niksar Highway, with the completion of the Niksar-Ünye section that is planned for the near future, will play an important role in connecting the Black Sea Region to Central Anatolia.

POTABLE, WASTE AND RAIN WATER PIPE CONSTRUCTION FOR ANKARA WATER AND SEWAGE ADMINISTEARION, ASKI

General Directorate of Ankara Water and Sewerage Authority (ASKİ) issued a tender for the construction of potable, waste, and rain water lines for various streets within the city limits of Ankara. The project is undertaken by the business partnership between TEYDA Construction Contracting Electromechanics Industry and Trade, Inc. and YDA Construction Ind. and Trade, Inc. Partnership is undertaking the project. The targeted date of completion is November 2017. The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 54.60%.

TURKISH STATE RAILWAYS AKCAGOZE BASBINAR VARIANT (GAZIANTEP)

The General Directorate of Turkish State Railways (TCDD) issued a tender for the Akçagöze Başpınar Variant Construction Project at the Hinterland of the 6th Regional Directorate. Doğuş and YDA Partnership undertook the project, whose rate of completion at the end of 2016 was %93.36. The targeted date of completion is May 2017. The scope of the project covers the construction of a new
railroad infrastructure of 11,173 km with two conventional tracks. The planned track speed is 115 km/h, platform width is 14.50 m, the maximum vertical climb is 0.16%, and the minimum curb radius is 1,000 m. The project consists of the following construction works: A total of 5,263 m single-tube tunnel including the T1 and T2 tunnels, 2 highway overpass bridges, 1 railroad bridge, 1 agricultural underpass bridge, 3 hydraulic culverts, 7 hydraulic culvert extensions, 25,000 m2 of reinforced earth walls, a highway overpass, cut excavations and landfilling.

Ankara-Sivas High-Speed Train Project Infrastructure Works (Kayaş-Kırıkkale)

The General Directorate of Turkish State Railways, Department of Railroads (TCDD) issued a tender for the Kayaş-Kırıkkale Section Infrastructure Construction works (Elmadağ-Kırıkkale; between km: 45+440 – 74+100; except Viaducts V7-V9-V10-V15). Söğüt Constr. Contr. Petr. Food Trans. Export & Import, Inc., and YDA Construction Ind. Trade, Inc. Partnership is undertaking the project. The planned date of completion of the project is March 2019. The scope of the contract covers bored tunnels (5 with a total length of 8,780 m); cut-and-cover Tunnels (4 with a total length of 2,570 m); viaducts (6 with a total length of 1,837 m); excavations on the route and for engineering structures (8,200,000 m3), and fillings on the route (1,100,000 m3). The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 7.53%.

Kars - Selim Motorway (Kars)

The General Directorate of Highways issued a tender in 2016 for the construction project of Kars Selim Motorway Junction Kötek Road. The contracting project is undertaken by Kıbrıs Construction (33%), TEYDA Constr. Contr. Elec. Ind. and Trade, Inc. (34%) and YDA Construction Industry and Trade, Inc. (33%) Partnership. The targeted date of completion is 2019.

Astana Potable Water Filtration Station Reconstruction Works (Kazakhstan)

TURKUAZ YDA Co., Ltd. carries out the reconstruction of the current 200 thousand m3/day-capacity Pump Potable Water Filtration Station. The reconstruction work covers construction of new buildings for the plant, renovation of the external walls and roofs of the existing buildings, all fine finishing works within buildings, construction of steel structures, repair mortar and epoxy isolation works for all hydraulic buildings, landscaping, renewal of all underground/ground and indoor steel-, HDPEand stainless-pipelines, renewal of all valves and pump systems, installation and commissioning of a hypochlorite system, replacement of poly-units and renewal of all other process equipment, renewal of heating and ventilation systems, renewal of all electrical automation supplies and equipment, and adaptation of these works to the plant currently in operation. The targeted date of completion is June 2017. The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 58.45%.

Governorship of Astana Culture and Recreation Park (Kazakhstan)

The Governorship of Astana Culture and Recreation Park project covers the renovation of Astana city park, walking trails, landscaping, construction of a clock tower, attractions, playgrounds, pool and water jet systems, and an outdoor pool. The targeted date of completion is July 2017. The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 95%.

Astana Expo 2017 Infrastructure Construction Works (Kazakhstan)

Astana Expo-2017 National Partnership, Inc. has undertaken the construction of the Astana Expo-2017 Building. The construction project consists of potable water, sanitation and rain water infrastructure lines, heating infrastructure lines, electricity and communication infrastructure, external lighting, landscaping and irrigation, land use, asphalt roads, kiosks and navigation works. The targeted date of completion is May 2017. The rate of completion at the end of 2016 was 72.54%.
